Price change for spare parts.

Jul 5, 2025

The weakening of the Japanese yen in recent years has made Japanese goods increasingly attractive to foreigners. But there is another side of the coin.

Price change for spare parts.

In Japan, there has been an increase in prices for fuel, electricity, food, materials and raw materials imported from abroad. Over the past few years, starting in 2022, prices will rise sharply by about 15–40%.

Japan, while maintaining high production quality, loses a lot when selling goods at old prices over a long period of time. That is why many manufacturers in Japan have decided to update their product prices not twice a year (as it was before 2024), but 3–4 times.

The main months for updating producer prices at the time: January, April, July, October.

We will try to update the data promptly after manufacturers adopt new prices. Apologize for the inconvenience.
